During the 2016 college season, Ultiworld brought us a new home for their video packages, and it was a great switch. The move to VHX to service their customers was a great one by the staff there. For the club season, Ultiworld is staying with VHX and is back with a a video package to match.

See all of the details here. The gist: all of the major Triple Crown Tour events, some regionals film, the Club National Championships, and they're working on possibly adding more. They've got the same individual packages in either monthly subscription or season pass form, and a team pack. If you act now and buy either the season pass or the team pack, you're going to save yourself some money too. They're able to offer a 40/40/20 split between the Men's/Women's/Mixed division over the course of the season as well, which is great for exposure across all of those divisions and should provide a healthy mix of teams.

As Ultiworld has said, these video packages they put together help to subsidize the analysis, audio, and writing they put together over the course of the year. Just like with the All-Star Ultimate Tour and other ultimate-ventures, it's important we (as an ultimate community) continue to support these ventures. If you're interested in the Triple Crown Tour, or could use some film for coaching or scouting teams, you should be helping to support Ultiworld and buying some video.

The college subscription package was a great purchase I thought, no complaints from me about the end product there. The Ultiworld team was timely in releasing video, they chose a good diversity of teams and games at the great tournaments they traveled to, and the quality of the footage was perfect for scouting.

I also purchased the college scouting reports they put together at the end of the season, just in time for Regionals and College Nationals, and I thought that too was a great decision. To have film that is already cut out into specific situations for teams was extremely useful in breaking down what an opponent does on offense and defense. It also made it extremely easy to show what an opponent does on the field as well. Here's hoping the Ultiworld staff are able to make it possibility for the club video as well.
